Bakayoko loan ‘to pass’ as Chelsea, AC Milan agree on terms
AC Milan obtains “Always closer to the finish line” with Tiémoué Bakayoko, indicates Alfredo Pedullà’s nocturnal report, after a series of productive meetings held yesterday with the various representatives involved in this agreement. Sky Italy (via Semper Milan) goes even further by asserting that it “will pass”.
While this loan seemed more and more likely, the two teams would still be at a distance on the amount of the call option that would be included. Milan wanted € 10million, Chelsea wanted € 20million, and according to Alfredo Pedullà we agreed somewhere in the middle, maybe a little closer to the demands of the former. The Hot Days Oracle claims the option will be “less than 15 M €” while the loan costs will be of the order of 1 to 1.5 million euros. Not great, but at least something. At the end of the day, we don’t have a lot of leverage in this matter.
The 27-year-old midfielder would be fair “one step away” now to complete his return to the team where he was already on loan once two years ago. Hopefully this time around he will actually convince them to exercise their option at the end of the season.
Peppe di Stefano: “Finita la riunione a Casa Milan con gli agenti di Bakayoko, se ne sono appena andati, the affare andrà in porto da quello che ci viene raccontato”
